Adelae Winters

Store Manager

Adelae has been working at McDee’s for two years and in that time she has honed her skills as a store manager extraordinaire. When she’s not bustling around the store organizing products and helping customers, she enjoys snowboarding at Mission Ridge, wake surfing and wakeboarding, hiking, and spending time with her husband. Adelae enjoys the “business aspect” of her work at McDee’s and she enjoys solving problems. She also values the opportunity to talk to veteran and amateur artists and working with them to help them succeed. Adelae’s favorite quotation is from an anonymous speaker: “Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting.” Good advice for a self-proclaimed Scrabble champion.

Bob Shanahan

Master Framer

Hired by McDee’s in December 2001 to transform the old Greyhound bus depot into the current McDee’s Art Center, you could say Bob has been here since day one. With a background in construction, trim and finish work in particular, picture framing was a perfect fit. Trained by one of the best designers in the business Jan Whiting, Bob has an acute eye for detail and a drive for perfection. Rest assured your framing project will be in good hands here at McDee’s. When time allows he and his wife enjoy traveling in warmer climates, and fine dining. “I take my salad dressing right on the salad, so there is no going back.”
